Responsibilities:

As a software engineer(data analyst), you are required to

• Requirement gathering: Fully understand the process and data flow in the factory and work with different engineering groups to understand their need on data. 
• System analysis and system design: Derive solution to help engineering team to extract, analyze and report data in a more efficient way. 
• System development: Develop new application software to improve data extraction/business intelligence reporting/analysis efficiency. 
• Maintain and enhance existing engineering data tools 

 Requirements:

1. Min. 2 years’ experience in system analysis and application development. 
2. Product engineering background and experience in web-based application development are preferred. 
3. Strong programming skills with knowledge in data structures, algorithms, design patterns and concurrent programming 
4. Proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlet, ESB, WebServices/SOA, DataBase (Data warehousing & BI),SQL 
5. Knowledge in scripting languages – Php, Python, Perl, Ruby

Responsibilities:

• Development, enhancement and maintenance of digital and Java / J2EE projects.
• To support development and maintenance activities of digital assets in a team including (but not limited to) Content Management Systems.
• Working together closely with all stakeholders (including the Project Management team, Creative team and the Account Servicing Team) to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science, is required.

• Min. 4 years experience in J2EE Web Application Development.

Recognized Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.

Job Description

• At least 4 years experience in C++ programming in  Real-time, multi-tasking OS environment. 
• At least 1 year experience in the development of applications in hand-held devices. 
• Working knowledge of real-time POSIX OS programming like QNX, Windows Mobile or CE will be an advantage. 
• Working knowledge in either Graphical User Interface for or financial/payment applications in hand-held devices will be an advantage.
• Experience in object-oriented embedded software design and UML modeling.
• Familiar with multi-threading, socket programming, serial communication and interrupt handling. 
• Knowledge of SDLC and RUP will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self motivated and a good team player.
