POSITION 1
Job Description for FMW DBA

• Experience: 5+ yrs exp as FMW DBA.
• Strong knowledge Fusion Middleware 10g and 11g.
• Strong knowledge and implementation experience of Oracle RAC and support.
• Experience in Installation, configuration and maintenance of fusion middleware products (Database, Weblogic server, OSB, SOA, WebCenter Portal, BPM,Business Intelligence Applications ,Enterprise Manager,OID,Oracle Retail.
• Knowledge in Oracle WebCenter Framework.
• Design and implement single node, multi node, High availability architecture.
• Perform application tuning ,performance monitoring and give consultation to development teams.
• Should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators.

Scope of work will be

1. Installation of Web logic server, OSB, Oracle coherence on High availability environment.
2. Replication of installation to DR site.
3. Testing the switchover from DC to DR and vice versa.
4. Providing Operation manual for the switchover, backup, startup and shutdown of servers.

POSITION 2

1. A expert Solution Architect on OSB with SOA & Web Logic services. He / She is shall bring in the best practices in this technology space.
2. A DBA with expertise and hands on experience in installing Web Logic Server with SOA & OSB components, establishing connectivity to all the related applications, Load Balancing etc.

JD :

• Assist in developing future DBA architectural directions and consolidation of infrastructure, high availability and DR solutions; 
• Undertake daily administration, including monitoring system performance, ensuring successful backups; 
• Create, maintain and manage databases with respect to security, backup/recovery, monitoring; 
• Ensure databases and systems are available & reliable so they meet SLA’s; 
• Develop, document and maintain database housekeeping scripts; 
• Resolve issues and problems related to the databases such as performance tuning, backup & recovery and setting up the database environments for System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);

• Good Unix and Perl scripting skills; 
• Understanding of communications in relation to database administration; 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 
• Preferred IT degree or relevant experience; 
• At least 8 years IT experience and 4 years of db2 database experience.
